Stripping & Rough Grading

Site prep starts by stripping the topsoil and unsuitable material and stockpiling it, then rough grading the site to the general elevations the plans call for. On sloped or uneven ground, that means cut-and-fill to establish a workable, stable pad.

We shape the site to drain from the very start, so water is managed through construction and beyond, not fought after the fact.

Building The Pad

For slab-on-grade and commercial construction, the building pad is the foundation. We place and compact structural fill in controlled lifts to the density the design requires, so what gets built on top does not settle and crack.

Utah soils and the valley's cobble make compaction non-negotiable. We build pads that account for the actual material on your site, so the slab stays flat and sound.

Drainage & Access
